In order for your dog to attend Doggie Paradise, please call to make an appointment. If you would like your dog to attend doggie daycare, call us and let us know you are coming for the first time.
If you have not been here before, and you would like your dog to board with us, you would need to bring your dog in for an evaluation (at least half day of daycare)
All dogs are evaluated prior to being allowed to attend. Evaluation assures that your dog will not be playing with any aggressive dog. This is a necessary process to ensure the safety of everyones' pets.
During evaluation, main issues that your dog will be tested for are:
* People Aggressiveness
* Dog Aggressiveness
* Toy/Water Possessiveness
Requirements to attend:
**Current on all Vaccinations
Please bring proof of the following:
-Distemper
-Bordetella (for kennel cough) every year (recommended every 6 months)
-Rabies
**All dogs over 8 months must be spayed/neutered - No Exceptions. Please bring Spay/Neuter Certificate from Vet.
**Flea control - Your pooch must be on a veterinarian-approved form of topical flea control from April - October. Acceptable products are:
-Frontline or Frontline Plus
-Advantage
-Revolution
**Well-socialized. Not protective of toys, people or space. We do not take dogs that need to be kept separate from other dogs.
**Nylon Snap Collar with NO Tags - If you do not have an approved collar when your dog comes in, we will provide one and you will be billed on checkout.
(please make sure to have a spare collar with tags for when you leave the facility)
**Dog must be licensed by Municipality of Residence (please bring in dog license)
